Publication and DOI Policy

Research Centre for English Language and Literature (RCELL) is committed to maintaining international standards in scholarly publishing and ensuring the long-term discoverability, accessibility, and integrity of the research it publishes.

This policy outlines RCELL’s approach to publication practices and the assignment and maintenance of Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs).

Publication Framework

All journals published by RCELL operate under structured editorial governance and follow clearly defined peer-review and ethical standards appropriate to their disciplinary scope. Editorial decisions are made independently by the respective journal editorial boards and are based solely on academic merit.

RCELL supports an open-access publishing model that enables unrestricted access to scholarly content, in alignment with global best practices for equitable knowledge dissemination.

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs)

To ensure persistent identification, reliable citation, and global discoverability of published research, RCELL assigns Crossref Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to eligible research articles published in its journals.

DOI Assignment Schedule

DOIs are assigned according to the following schedule:

  • The Criterion: An International Journal in English
Crossref DOIs are assigned to all research articles published from the October 2025 issue and the December 2025 issue onwards, and to all the subsequent problems.

  • Galaxy: International Multidisciplinary Research Journal (Galaxy IMRJ)
Crossref DOIs are assigned to all research articles published from the November 2025 issue and the January 2026 issue onwards, and to all subsequent issues.

Each DOI resolves to the official article landing page on the corresponding journal’s website.

Metadata Stewardship

RCELL is responsible for the accurate registration, maintenance, and updating of article metadata deposited with Crossref. This includes, where applicable, corrections to bibliographic details, updates to article URLs, and the long-term preservation of DOI resolution.

Scope of DOI Assignment

DOIs are assigned at the article level to peer-reviewed scholarly content. Editorial notes, announcements, calls for papers, and other non-research materials may not carry DOIs unless explicitly specified by the journal.

Policy Review

This Publication and DOI Policy may be reviewed and updated periodically to reflect evolving standards in scholarly publishing and metadata management. Any such updates will be published on this page.
