The Criterion and Galaxy IMRJ each maintain their own conference collaboration pathway, for institutions, learned societies and conference organisers interested in a possible link between a conference and the journal's scope. Such collaboration is considered on its academic merits and is administered by the journal itself, independently of RCELL.

Work arising from a collaboration, whether a co-organised conference session, a proposed special issue or a research partnership, remains subject to independent peer review and editorial decision by the relevant journal's own editorial board. RCELL does not offer guaranteed publication as part of any collaboration, sponsorship or partnership arrangement.
